For AFTrack - GPS Tracking for Android and all usable plugins

This application saves all collected tracks and way points in a local database on the phone. There is no data exchange with a server. But the user can export the data to a file and send this to others.

Also the plugins doesn't connect a server to store collected personal data.

To use the app features there are some permissions on the phone needed.
Not all versions of AFTrack or plugins use all permissions.
Strictly necessary for AFTrack is write to sdcard and use location service.

Device & app history

• read sensitive log data
  This is useful to get a quick troubleshooting. The user can generate an error log file (main menu 'Info') and send this to the developer.

Contacts/Calendar

• read your contacts
  The app is usable with gps trackers. The incoming short message is looking for the number an generates a new way point with its name from the contacts.

Location

• precise location (GPS and network-based)
• approximate location (network-based)
  Needed for positioning.

SMS, used by SMS Plugin

• send SMS messages
• edit your text messages (SMS or MMS)
• read your text messages (SMS or MMS)
• receive text messages (SMS)
  The app reads and sends short messages when they are useful for positioning. A user intervention is required to activate this.

Photos/Media/Files

• test access to protected storage
• modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
  The app writes its data down to the file system.

Wi-Fi connection information
• view Wi-Fi connections
  A online connection is needed when the user works with online maps. Or want to send online data.

Device ID & call information

• read phone status and identity
  The use of nv-digital charts needs a unique key from the device to activate the maps. The IMEI is used to generate a new key.

Other

• mock location sources for testing
  Uses for more positioning sources.

  Enable the vibration for an alarm situation like anchor alarm.

• view network connections
  A online connection is needed when the user works with online maps. Or want to send online data.
